Porte Noire Cognac, Maison Ferrand x Idris Elba

Idris Elba, known for his role in the series Luther, has collaborated with Maison Ferrand to create a cognac signed Porte Noire, a signature already used for a champagne and rosé launched by the British actor in 2020.

SERAM was asked by design agency Studio Minerva to develop the two labels for this elegant faceted bottle. The neckband and central label are made from 100% vegan leather, created from recycled grape pomace, a by-product of the wine-making process.

Both elements are hot stamped with foil application, and a black silk-screen print completes the sides of the central label.

This material, a first in the textile industry, reflects the brand’s commitment to the environment without compromising product quality.

Born of Elba’s passion for fine wines and spirits, Porte Noire brings an elegant and responsible approach to the world of cognac.
